Intervention Specialists
A professional who displays patience while specializing in working with adults who may need additional assistance in more than one area. This individual must be able to target and properly assess issues that may arise while offering the best solution. The IS must be able to do the following:
Willing to go into the veterans in their private setting and build trust in order to work with them comfortably.
Create specific learning and development opportunities and work with a mental health counselor or the veteran’s primary physician.
Help the veteran to relearn and navigate diminished social and life skills that will make them confident in getting back acclimated to normal life.
